From the beginning and still today WLCSRF provides 4-year awards to St. Louis students academically prepared for college but lacking the financial means to pay for a higher education. It has been our honor to play a small part in the lives of 254 young men and women who are now accomplished professionals, role models of character, and standard bearers of excellence. Rising college costs continue to present a barrier to entry, as they did 40 years ago, and many students are still working to be the first in their family to earn a college degree.
